The discovery was made by the victim’s family following a phone call from the 26-year-old male suspect, who is allegedly related to her by marriage. It was learnt that the suspect, who worked at a nightclub in Sri Hartamas, had confessed the killing to his wife. He had allegedly revealed the victim’s location and then threatened to kill himself. The wife had lodged a police report before checking the hotel.
