The doctors havent rounded yet this am. It was questionable what would be happening today. So far Landon is satting. 78-84 off the vent. This is great. We want better but its a good start. He is on. .25 liters of. Oxygen so hardly any. He is extremely agitated and in pain today. Also chest X-rays showier fluid in his lungs. He sounds aweful. Pushing lasix- a med used to get rid of excess fluid- and trying to wait it out. His saturation will go up once his pain goes down and lungs clear up. Today everything but PICC line comes out and he starts feeding. Im not ready for the floor yet but they are pushing for him to go there today. He gets better care in the PICU and more closely monitored so we shall see who wins that battle. Also a new set of feeding protocols I get to battle out with the doctors once again. Always fighting for breastfeeding - I always win and Landon always thrives best this way too.
