The dog fighters, puppy mill owners, hoarders, and abusers must sit back and laugh because they are able to succeed in their exploitation of animals while so many people in the animal welfare world put their energy into attacking each other instead of helping animals. It is disgusting how social media is being used to attack people and their families, or people they disagree with, instead of using it in a more positive way. We are seeing animal welfare people spending precious time that could be used to help animals, instead they are fighting and hurting each other with slanderous, hate-filled remarks, that take the focus off the animals we are trying to save. Everyone looses in this, but especially the animals. We have witnessed this negativity on our own page, and while it is a free forum, we are here to help the animals. When our page is used for the wrong reason, it takes focus off our mission and we have no choice but to ban those people who are diverting the attention away from our rescue work. One person may not agree with another persons perspective, but the bashing and hatred, arguments and threats, only take energy away from what should be a common goal – helping animals. We ask that you think about it and question yourself and your motives before you attack someone on social media. Why are you doing it? Is it personal? What did that person (or people) really do to you to warrant attack and hateful comments? Please take a breath and think about your next reaction when it comes to someone who is trying to help ----you may just realize that that person is doing more than most to help and save animals. We are a small community in comparison to the number of animal abusers out there. People in the animal welfare world need to step up and support each other, and use their shared compassion for animals as a reason to put egos and petty differences aside. This is not about who may be right or wrong--- if we all work to better the welfare of animals, we can never be wrong. Take your passion and lets make it work for the betterment of animals. Lets stand united to stop the dog fighters, puppy mill owners, hoarders, and abusers and so we can be successful in our fight for the protection of all animals.
