The dog seemed perfectly cool with it. Jill (dgs name) didnt mind a bit. I know dogs to be Intelligent and self determined enough to not permit anyone, including their owner, using them as stepping stones if they are experiencing any physical discomfort or are not in the mood. Dogs are a creation of human civilization, purposefully domesticated over hundreds if not thousands of years to put up with and even get personal satisfaction from serving human beings in these ways. Here we see a perfect quid-pro-quo master-servant relationship where the dog gets to keep being lazy and gets her back scratched while the boy uses the dog as a step to get his chores done. I see a beautiful and innocent bonding moment between a boy and his dog. The PETA NAZIS and Liberal Fascists see an opportunity to revise the way dogs should be used by an innocent child and the way they have been used forever and criticism of a cultural and political foe. I stick my tongue out at these freaks :P and tell hem to get a life! And I am heart warmed by what this kid did. How sweet and ingenious.
