The dogmas of society are easier for most people to blindly follow because it takes no effort, and no critical thinking, and honestly most people choose to follow them out of comfort and the need to be a part of a majority.. We are all born with an instinct to trust our parents, and because of the many different ideas and beliefs that parents choose to inflict on their children, you end up with a completely illogical core belief system that appears in every corner of the globe .... liberating yourself takes first of all intelligence, then the confidence to question these core beliefs and determine whether they are logical to even be practical in your life. When the answer is inevitably questionable, then you are liberated and can start the search for a new perception on how the world works and how you perceive the entire world around you. I personally believe there is a philosopher in every one of us who reaches this point, no matter their age, no matter their race, or nationality. We all struggle, and so there will always be a need for easing the pain through introspective examination. In my opinion, religions are the same as self-help books, they offer people the illusion that they can deflect the responsibility away from themselves and use these ideas as a guide to live their life. What I like about Nietzsches works, is that he writes to first identify your beliefs, eliminate them, and create new beliefs based on your individual truths which is beneficial for everyone considering all of us are of different beliefs and therefore have different truths. It appears to be pessimistic, but I see it as offering an individual philosophy for your own life. I feel that Nietzsche feels dont think and feel like I do, or society tells tries to make you believe you have to, there is no value in thinking like this. Think and feel like you do .
