The dogs and I trekked up to Memphis Lake again today, figuring with the snow tomorrow we may not get there. It was 19 degrees (cooler than yesterday) but with filtered sun and no wind we had a great walk. I am just glad I wasnt the fisherman. He looked vey cold sitting out on the ice. I sure hope he caught something. We saw the steer on the way up there contentedly chewing on a corn stalk. Ah, the strange things that make animals happy.
