The door to the chicken shack (it’s really not a coop) BURST open to reveal one angry al-lee-gator! Chickens and one guilty-looking rooster freeze. Ally: I’m gonna kill me a chicken! Chickens: ARG! Chicken feathers fly EVERYWHERE as four female foul run amok within the confines of the shack, attempting to hide form the vicious, angry, al-lee gator. Cluckley: (Rising quickly from the comfy chair) It’s ROOSTER! Ally: Rooster! ROOSTER! I’ll kill me a rooster! Ally begins chasing Cluckley through the makeshift coop, feathers and felt flying! Chickens: Don’t hurt him! He’s our savior! Ally: Savior my butt! Cluckley: (Running for all he’s worth) You don’t understand! (Dodges a ‘gator claw) Your cousin was going to EAT these ladies! Chickens: That’s right! Ally: My FOOT! Asta: (Squawking from behind the rocking chair) It’s true! He was going to make chicken and dumplings! Erma: ( From under the table) He was going to have fried chicken! Pearl, who has had enough, jumps into the fray and BEANS Ally on the head with a frying pan. Pearl: Now, you just STOP THAT. Ally looks SHOCKED that a chicken would actually attack him. Cluckley looks a bit winded. The other ladies look concerned, along with three other faces peaking around the make-shift coops sagging door – Ollie, Bee, and Looney. Ally: WOMAN! You will pay for that! Ally begins to chase Pear, who manages to scatter the other chickens in her attempt to escape. Ollie: Don’t hurt Cluckley’s friends! Bee: Men…um… Looney: YEA HAW! Looks like fun! Looney joins the chase, with Cluckley bringing up the rear. Imagine if you will, dear reader, Cluckley chasing Looney, who is chasing Ollie, who is chasing Ally, who is chasing Pearl and three other feather flying chickens. In a VERY small coop. Over nests, under the small table, over the stove (which, thankfully has been turned off), over the table (at which Ollie takes a quick break to grab a cookie ‘cause come on! He’s a corgi!) around chairs, and all over again. Imagine this to the theme from Benny Hill and you have the right idea.
