The elderly Mr. Chhun, aged 92 this year, is living in very bad conditions without access to adequate nutrition. Up until now, it has been the duty of his daughter, Ms. Chhun Chhoub, to take care of her old father. Ms. Chhoub is approaching old age herself at the age of 65, and has recently been reaching out for help from generous sources to support her indispensable efforts in looking after her elderly father. Mr. Chhun and his daughter live in Kok Tomlorb Village, in the Banteayneang Commune of the Mongkul Borei District (Banteay Meanchey Province). Having seen the sufferings of Mr. Chhun and his daughter, H.E. Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach and Lok Chumteav Lyhong Ung Quach donated 800,000 Riels in cash to Mr. Chhun and his daughter for their daily expenses and to pay for the medical treatment that they frequently incur in their old age. Ms. Chhun Chhoub and her father are very grateful to His and Her Excellency, and wish them and their children all the best.
