The election is long over, but how young people engage with politics and political parties is still a big issue: The campaign all but ignored young voters values and day-to-day challenges: youth unemployment... insecurity for the many young casual and part-time workers; high rents and unaffordable housing for first-time buyers; woeful public transport and other services that young people rely on... The parties may comfort themselves with the thought, sung by Jagger 49 years ago, that sooner or later, Youll come running back to me. Theyre wrong.
