The election results are in and I will not be serving on the MSD school board. Congratulations to Matt Driscoll on the win. Matt is a great guy and I will be praying for him. I would like to thank everyone for all the words of encouragement, putting signs in their yards, votes, and most of all your prayers. It is my hope that my running caused there to be greater attention given to the race and discussions have taken place about the future of MSD and the things that need to be done. Every taxpayer should have a say in what is happening with our tax dollars in our schools and I hope that all of you will stay engaged with your representatives about the future of education in Wabash County. There is a strong foundation to build upon and the board of education will need your support and input. Please don’t turn your back and wait for the next election – be involved. Lastly I would like to thank my family for all of their support. If you don’t know my wife is the perfect person for me to spend the rest of my life with, she totally fills all of my gaps and weaknesses. My three children are true gifts from God and it is my goal to do everything I can to make this world a better place for them to raise their families.
