The emails included one from Mike Brower, KETs senior director of production operations, who wrote the goal of the criteria is to have a way to defend not including only the most extreme cases, like out of state crusaders, or wacky people who paid the $50 and got 2 names on a form to qualify as a candidate. Except that the 2 signatures is a Democrat/Republican-only perk they grant only to themselves. Independents and third parties have to collect 5,000 signatures for this race. It is obvious that this case wasnt decided on the facts, and the decision to exclude a candidate was based on willful ignorance or blatant bias. Apparently, out-of-state crusader money is a validity threshold to KET, as long as it goes to the Republicrat candidates.
