The end of an era. After the horrendous losses over the last 12 months the Rockin 50s Club will no longer be putting on live bands in Birmingham. After November with the exception of the Rhythm & Booze All-dayer and Big Birmingham Bash Weekend, ALL BANDS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. I will be carrying on for a while as record hop only nights.to see if we can salvage anything. Its such a shame that Englands second city cannot sustain one only rockin club, once a month. I have tried all sorts of different styles of bands, some big names and some less well known, but I have to accept that there is just not the support in Birmingham. Thanks to those who have been club regulars.
