~The end to a new begging~ It was a more quiet night at Nights Castle. All the Night siblings were gathered around a small bed. Every Night was all in white, even Lia herself was wearing a white gown, simple with small straps on her shoulders to keep it up on her body. Lias eyes like all the rest of them were a deep dark blue. Lias cheeks were soaked with her white clear tears that shimmered when her tears caught light. Lia was holding someone close to her as she lay in the bed that the siblings were all gathered around. The small young person Lia was holding in her arms was Valen. Valen is the youngest Night sibling. She is not a reaper like the rest but one with great power of darkness and bringer of war and hurt if her power is to be unleashed. However Valen being very powerful and dangerous she is rather a sweet 12 year old looking girl. Valen was also like a young daughter to Lia, their bound was great like the great bound between a mother and child. However Valens long dark purple hair that were in small braids was now all unraveled and her hair was a dark gray. Valens dark purple violet glassy eyes that shined in the light were now a dark dull green. Valen had a mark in the center of her forehead, it was a mark of a viy to what she is. A creature of dark power is what the mark stood for so all would know who she was. That mark was glowing a low dim green. Her skin getting a pale sickly color not the lush white skin the rest of her brothers and sisters had. Valen was in a dark gray little dress, the dress use to be white but her power that was leaking from her turned it gray. Amy had both her hands out which glowed silver. Amys left eye also glowed silver and the red gem that was in Amys right eye socket was glowing a bright red helping Amy releasing more of her powers of healing. Masson, Nich, and Suzzy also had their hands out glowing silver as well as they tried to help Amy with her healing. Lia had one of her hands on Valens back and her other hand gently cradling the back of Valens head. Her hands glowed silver as she too was giving up some of her power to heal as well. Lia had her forehead agent Valens Lais eyes glowing a bright gold as she had tapped into her angel powers and was mixing them with her reaper powers so she wasnt hurt Valen but help heal her to the best that she could help with. Lia...we have to stop now. Amy said lowering her hands until they were make at her sides. Masson, Nick, and Suzzy had done the same. Soon Lia herself also stopped her healing ticks as well on Valen. Valens eyes had shut now, they looked hollowed with the dark half moons under her eyes. Lia pulled Valen into herself holding her closer. Soon the siblings all started to fad out of the room all but Amy. Amy slowly sat down on the side of bed opposite side of Lia and Vale. Valens not getting any better Lusenda. Amy said after she had gone over her thoughts before she spoke them out loud. She knew how close Valen and Lia were and right now Lia was way to weak to but up a fight also she wasnt doing so well in power wise either as she was trying to use the power of her reaper side and angel side together to help Valen breath a little more. I know that Amy. But I dont want to lose my girl. Shes also holding to much power and if she dies then all that power she holds might start a war or worse tar the Low Lands and Atla apart. Two lands of powerful creatures wiped out in seconds all because of her death if let happened. I will not let my girl die Amy. I will not let her go alone. I understand Lia but her body isnt getting any stronger from these healing treatments and were giving her the power of four strong reaper healers along side your own angelic healing as well. Her body isnt accepting but rejecting it instead. Amy looked at Valens small face almost dead looking when you look at her. Amy slowly reached out a hand and gently brushed her long thin fingers agent her small hallowed cheeks. I would say she had maybe two days maybe less than that. I think......that it might be time....to.. Amy couldnt even bring herself to say but would happen what was already happening. I cant let her die Amy. My girl my little girl I cant let that happen. Also if she dies then our home land and the vampires realm of Atla get torn to shreds. Luca said as he lend agent the bed post at the end of the bed. He had come in when Amy and Lia started to talk. Amy turned her head to look at Luca. She then sighed looking down with her eye. Lucas right. If Valen died then so does the Low Lands and Atla together taking that the two realms are now connected again. And also we might also lose another sister along with her. And I will not lose Valen nor my twin sister. Atla, one of the larger realms of the vampirc kind. Mainly to most of the more rule vampire familys. Lia said still looking at Valen. And....it also might be our answer. Luca and Amy both looked at Lia as she got up from Valens bed Valen in her arms. Lia looked at the both of them and her eyes turned back to normal. I must get her down under the castle now. Lia said as her dress changes black. Amy and Luca nodded and all three of them ran out of the room and down under the castle in almost no time at all. Luca quickly opened the doors to a secret camper under the castle. The camper was near bar and only a black table was in the center of the room. Lia quickly rushed over to it and gently lay Valen down on it. Small creaking noises could be heard as Valens back popped in a few places. Her body was breaking and drying faster than before. Lia held out her hand and Amy took her hand and changed into her scythe form. Lia held a calm face as she held the head of the scythe over her body. Lia spoke calmly yet strongly. Valen Night. A dark creature called a viy, a being of nothing of hat and pain of war. Now dying because of her own power. I take half of my angelic powers and half of my darker reaper powers and mix them with Valens angel half. Lias scythe then broke into nothing but flacks of dark pick flower pedals. Lia walked over her dress changing into a white gown. the color red bleeding down from the stop of her dress down around her thin frail looking body having the white dress half white and half blood red. Lia sat down on Valens right side and gently bent down and kissed her forehead. Lia got a sudden gold glow around her and so Valen. Valens hair changed to a dark pick, the dark gray dress she worse turned white and a pink ribbon tied around her mid section. Her skin turned a flawless white like her siblings skin and the half dark moons under her eyes left. Youll have the full strength of a reaper. The immortality of a vampire. And the power of light of a angel. I give you to be a keeper of light to protect the Low Lands and Atla. A bringer of life not of death. I give you the permission to turn back into your old self of the keeper of the light and a bringer of life. I rename you. Your name will mean kind, sweet, and most importantly loving as you have always been even when you took on your burden of darkness. I rename you Vansesha. *The symbol in the center of Valens forehead changed and she opened her eyes which were now two different colors. Her right eye was a dark pink and her left eye was a bright green. She looked around gasping for air. She sat up slowly looking at Lia and then wrapped her arms around Lia resting her chin on her shoulder. You renamed me. You gave me permission to change back. I will do what yo have asked me to do. I am Vansesha now. And that I will forever stay. Short story by the admin Punk Punk: Hope you didnt get bored with reading and I hope you also enjoyed it as well.
