The evening rain finally arrived and lasted just long enough to quench the thirst of everything in the yard, thankful I managed to mow the front yard last night. This morning I helped Mom out onto the front porch so she could trim all the dead flowers off from her geranium plants, seems to be a weekly thing but worth the trim to keep them blooming. Went to the Farmers Market this morning to pick up a few vegetables for Mom and Sheila. Sheila fixxed lunch and then it was time to get home, nap time was needed. Mom tires very easily and it is very hard for her to get around with out her hoovaround, too hot outside anyway. Tonight I potted a plant Mom bought in the succulent family called Baby Toes and it looks exactly like it is named, also planted some swiss chard seeds in another container. I have come to the conclusion that container gardening is the way to go with a lot of the plants, too much Georgia clay to plant a lot of things. Tonight is going to be a breakfast dinner, Mom is too tired to cook and I need something quick and easy to cook. Hope everyone has a Blessed evening......................................
