The evidence of the Believers position in the Anointing is not in - TopicsExpress

The evidence of the Believers position in the Anointing is not in giving fruit, living uprightly, increasing in the knowledge of God or even in giving praise to the Father; it IS the realization that the LORD..... Who has made us free from the power of evil and given us a place in the kingdom of the Son of his love; (Colossians 1:13 BBE) ...has rescued and exchanged lives with the Believer! The word translated here as has made us free is rescued! The word means to liberate, save or deliver someone from something or someone. Paul pens that we are liberated from the power of evil- the power of authority (influence) and of right (privilege) the power of rule or government (the power of him whose will and commands must be submitted to by others and obeyed) Thayer defination. Jesus used the same phrase at His arrest in Gethsemane. Evil here is symbolic of ignorance, lies and mans sinful nature without Jesus. But praise the LORD, He does not simply save the Believer but exchanges His life for ours! The reconciliation of deliverance has given us a place in the kingdom The common usage of the Greek word here translated was to remove a person from one country and make them a citizens of another; it could correctly be translated established. The tense of the verb indicates this translation or exchange takes place at salvation, meaning it is a present reality for all Believers! (...as He IS, so are we in this world! 1John 4:17) The conversion of a sinner is translation out of the kingdom of the devil into The Kingdom of Jesus - by the Anointing. The power of sin is washed away and the power of the Anointing is received when we believe. The law of the Spirit of life in the Anointing of Jesus makes the Believer free from the law of sin and death; and establishes the Believer in the kingdom of his dear Son. The Believer is IN the Son of his love.- the Son on whom His love rests: no longer in the “power of evil” where all is selfishness, hatred and fear. The Son is the object of His love, to whom the kingdom is given. It is true that love is the essence of the Son as of the Father and that the Sons mission is the revelation of the Fathers love; but, as Meyer correctly says, “the language refers to the exalted Jesus who rules” not to exalting love.
