The evolution from supercell to squall line is taking place along - TopicsExpress

The evolution from supercell to squall line is taking place along the Missouri river. The Omaha airport has gusted to 82 mph. Our job this evening will be to watch for these downburst type signatures and pickup embedded tornadoes within the lines. The storms will be into the viewing area in the next 30-45 minutes. The on air cut ins will be dependent on the threats observed by our remote sensing tools and two KCCI chase crews in western Iowa. We will cover some national breaks to avoid missing much of actual show content tonight unless winds get up to 70+ or tornado signatures are on radar. JM 805pm
