The exoneration of the police officer who employed a chokehold against an unarmed and nonviolent African American man with asthma is a disgrace to the justice system. As many may know, I was on the side of the US justice system regarding the ferguson shooting because Officer Wilson was legally in his rights to shoot (whether its okay or not, the fleeing felon rule and Tennessee vs. Garner mean the jury had no other choice but to not indict him), but this situation with Eric Garner dying in a policemans chokehold while unarmed: Thats bullshit. The officer should have been charged with excessive force and manslaughter.
