The fact is there will always be a risk of accidents, human error, technical/mechanical breakdown. As far as I am concerned 1% of risk is still TO MUCH! risk. Our ocean, our shoreline, our sea and land life would be devastated. For what? So people who do not live here can make billion dollars. Any money NZ gets would be the dregs of the billions taken off shore. We would pay the price, not so much of the clean up, the price we would pay is the devestattion to our beautiful country.
