The fact that polio especially is on this map makes me want to throw things. That disease is the main reason I never met my paternal grandfather. We have a very effective vaccine. There is no reason for it to continue to affect people, especially when we had all but eradicated it. All of the diseases on this map can be prevented, but the attacks on science based medicine continue to span the globe.
