The fact that the Obamas are Americas punching bag aside (this article clearly leans right and lacks any valid evidence about the negative claims made against her school lunch program) this article - and Michelle Obamas approach to fixing Americas food problem is a prime example of how faulty neoliberalism can be. We need better, healthier options on the shelves and a better health education system, not more reward-based programs that put the responsibility (and blame) on the individual to shop for healthier options. Address the real problem - not the person. Obamas little initiative wont fix the problem ... only changing the power-structures in place will. Its not rocket science. Its common sense.
