The fall is here! That means cider, donuts, and apple picking season has arrived. October 12 (Saturday) will be the next Ohana activity. The activity will be breaking into two parts--apple picking at Erwin Orchards, and then fun and dinner back at the Ministry Center. Erwin Orchards is only 10 minutes away from the Center. Wei Wu will coordinate apple picking at the orchards. Please pre-purchase the apple picking bag and be ready for the wagon ride by 3:00. Bring some insect repellent to avoid mosquito bites. Erwin Orchards link: erwinorchards/wordpress/ Below is the tentative plan for the day: 3:00 PM - Apple picking at Erwin Orchards 5:00 PM - Family Fun at Ohana Ministry Center 6:00 PM - Welcome & Sharing 6:30 PM - Dinner 8:00 PM - Clean Up Ohana Ministry Center will open at 5:00. We will have cider and donuts; in addition, there will be caramel dip for you to sweeten up apple slices (provided by Ohana) or the apples that you have just freshly picked. If apple picking is canceled due to weather, then Ohana Ministry Center will open at 4:00, so we can still have fun and fellowship together. This will also be a good opportunity to invite your friends to an Ohana activity. Ohana will order the dinner. Please bring a dessert or fruits to share.
