The family and friends of Team Christie have been asking how they can *tangibly* help. There are a few things going on: (1) Christie and Jason have an incredibly long road ahead of them. She is projected to be in the Neuro Trauma ICU for 3 weeks - 1 month. Fortunately, they have medical insurance coverage. To offset the expense of their portion, one of their dear friends has set up a YouCaring account. All donations will be applied to Christies medical bills. Should any funds remain, they will be used to establish a nursing scholarship in her honor. (2) Please send cards of encouragement/gratitude, snacks, treats, etc. to Christies nurses: CVICU nursing station and NTICU nursing station at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, OK. They are taking *exceptional* care of their favorite little blonde Nurse Barbie! (3) One of Christies friends shared the story with local Tulsa jeweler Jill Donovan, of Rustic Cuff. Jill was so touched she wanted to create a unique bracelet combo in Christies honor that would unite her friends.... Its not a fundraiser, but afriend raiser!
