The famous Suzuka 8 Hours race in Japan has been a happy hunting ground for Pata Honda riders on the famous CBR1000RR Fireblade in the last two years. Jonathan Rea Official became the first British rider to win the prestigious event in 2012 when he took victory with team-mates Kousuke Akiyoshi and Tadayuki Okada in 2012. Last year, his Pata Honda team-mates Leon Haslam and Michael van der Mark took the win with Takumi Takahashi. This years race takes place next Sunday 27 July with the three Pata Honda riders being joined by World Supersport ace Lorenzo Zanetti as a reserve rider, but who will be buying the beers in the legendary Log Cabin on Sunday evening...?
