The fastest (of sorts) healthy on-the-go snack. Rice-Paper Rolls. Layer 1 : Lettuce + chinese cabbage (half n half) and Carrots lightly topped with Habanero for that punch in the first bite. Layer 2 : Yellow bell-pepper (for the drama) and green apple (this was such a Gamechanger!) Layer 3 : Dark soy-tossed crab-n-fish sticks Things i got to know (while i made the ricepaper roll and muched on a pack of uncle chips spicy treat, it is heaven in a packet!) : - Rice paper is not supposed to be soaked, its supposed to be dipped in cold water (rookie mistake) - Chinese cabbage just looks fancy, it tastes exactly like the local variety. - The roll is just an edible pocket to carry your salad around (salad minus the dressing, if u dont want the ricepaper going soggy n tearing as you roll it. - Ive used too much of ricepaper and roll for one post. - Im going to stop now. - Ideally these are supposed to go with chilli sauce, or as in this case, Nandos piri piri sauce. But for the Indian palate, it might need a heavier sauce. might. - Singing Rolling in the Deep, increases efficiency and takes your mind off the planning youd want to do for the next meal. This is an amazing thing to try and the experiments tht u can do with the flavors and fillings are unimaginable! Go for it and change that game! Happy Cookin n Happy Eatin
