The fear and devastation in PUNA after Hurricane Iselle and now - TopicsExpress

The fear and devastation in PUNA after Hurricane Iselle and now the anticipation of whats yet to come from Hurricane Julio is a true test of my faith in GOD and my strength as an individual. I’ve never prayed so much in my life! Its been over 40 hours without Electricity or Running water. The last few days have been nothing but CHAOS. I’ve been balancing the safety and well-being of my family and trying to maintain my role as a business professional which is to serve the community of Pahoa with financial services (Also, the most affected by the storm). Both need me at my best and Im truly giving it my all. I am a strong woman but I do have weaknesses like any other person. (Anxiety; I will need to be placed on medication when all of this is done LOL!) In the end, I have to be thankful that I have my family and a roof over our heads for there are many with nothing. It’s amazing for Joe and I to hear from a few heaven sent people. Some that we knew would be there for us and a few that we’d least expect it from…Offering their help to clean up to debris, hustling to find us a stove, propane and a generator, opening their homes for us to take a shower and/or simply to use their freezers to make ice. You know who you are and I am so thankful and grateful that the lord brought you into our lives.
