The fear of change often wins over the need to change for many clients. People join gyms and never change their weight or how they look. For these people, fear of letting go and accepting change is stronger than their drive to eliminate the demons, such as weight, bad health or smoking. If you want change in your life, you have to let go. First, let go of what you think you know about nutrition. There is no magic diet and every good book comes down to the same conclusions: eat real food, eat a lot of veggies, eliminate the crap and drink water. Secondly, you have to let go of the sedentary life. If you want to change you have to create an active lifestyle. All a gym is supposed to do is supplement an active life, not replace it. Move everyday for an hour minimum and you are on your way. Finally, let go of your past. What you did 20 years ago wont work for you now. Youre older, beaten up and need to let a great coach fit a program to who you are now, not who you were back in the day. There are people who will choose an early death over change and the difference between them and you is the willingness to accept that who you were is not who you will be tomorrow.
