The final rehearsal before the show was yesterday in Chateguay at Studio Guitare Verte. All band members accounted for,a good time was had by all. We are pret a jouer. Or ready to play which ever you prefer. So again a reminder to all fans near and far, Friday May 23rd at 9:30 pm the show begins. I am so grateful to be in the company of some of this provinces finest musicians. One more time i would like to thank Eric Bernard for his enormous input into this album. Eric actually spent a little time in Harrington before we even started recording this album. We had organized a fund raiser for the Community Center in Harrington and Eric and his wife Nichole came to the rescue along with Caroline Allatt and of course Bruce Murdoch.It is my belief that Eric saw the Rouge River and the beauty of Harrington with his soul and had the direction of this album set in his mind before we began the base tracks in Emmett Campbells living room. The result of that vision is the album Rouge River Road. Again I called on the expertise of Eric Bernard to act as music director for this upcoming show. Thank you Eric for your empathy, you listened to these songs with your heart you inhaled the essence of Harrington and the surrounding area and produced an album that you should be very proud of.
