The fire department was in today for their annual inspection so I inquired about all the shootings in this area since the first of the year. The last one being up the street over the weekend. According to them the shootings are all related to heroin dealers. They also indicated its the fastest growing drug problem everywhere, not just in Evanston and Avondale. Please keep your kids safe and pay attention to what they are doing and who they are doing it with, it could cost them their lives.
