The first half of this Chinese-language TV newscast from Toronto (about 5 mins) is a fast-paced compilation of some of the many performances that took place on September 14 at Mount Zion, where the Red Maple Seniors Club celebrated its 10th anniversary. They even got me around the 150 mark with a few notes of a hastily prepared flute solo, but the camera also found Scott, Ed, Pr. Philip and a bunch of other congregation members who were invited to this auspicious occasion. The dancing numbers were stunning; there is huge talent in this group and its various Waterloo-area affiliates. Four Chinese cultural groups meet at Mount Zion every week and its been fascinating working with them as the churchs rental group liaison.
