The first picture is an update on the November 29th post regarding the shonky scope fitting which led to a mangled thread in an action of a rifle traded that day. Jeff Borg, our gunsmith of choice, has done a great job in re-sleeving and re- threading the mangled hole in the action, bringing the rifle back to better than new condition. The other two pictures are of my 1962 manufactured Sako L579 in .243 which took a bit of a beating on the last pig shoot with the rear sight assembly getting banged off and lost in the crop paddock. This left an ugly area on the barrel the would have quickly rusted, along with a now useless front sight. Jeff re-blued the barrel after removing the front sight, removing years of battle scars in the metal and brining it back to better than factory condition. As well as having a fully appointed gunsmith shop complete with blueing tanks, Jeff will soon be a fully functional CERKOTE applicator. If you want QUALITY work, give Jeff a call. He can be contacted through Razorback Guns.
