The first review of Outlaw, Alien is glowing! I cant believe how nice it is. " There’s a phrase that says “things get better with age”, and that phrase in completely true. Streetparty in Liverpool’s Marleigh Jones’ voice has gotten sweeter with each recording, and her new EP, Outlaw, Alien, has proven this point further. Since 333, Marleigh has further distinguished herself as an artist and has made her own unique sound that is unlike any other of the kind. Her delightful voice has proven that a love for Jesus can only be made cooler by expressing it in your own unique way where others can also appreciate the joys brought on every day by the awesome God we serve. It was a very close call, but my favorite song is “Anthem (Once I’m Dead)” because it’s the song I can connect with on a personal level. As a teenager, I personally worry on an hourly basis I’m not doing enough to make anyone happy in my life, God being the one I want to impress the most. However, he still loves me and thinks I’m awesome. Marleigh has perfectly put in beautiful words how it feels to be human in the most unique way possible, and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for Streetpartiers near and far, as well as old and new.
