The first session of the 16th Lok sabha was adjourned because of Shri Gopinath Munde’s untimely and unfortunate death. Most of the MPs were present. While Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge occupied the first row, Rahul Gandhi was seen warming the last bench. As somebody who has warmed the last benches for every single moment of his school and college life, I am highly offended. Last benches are the epicenters of creativity. Last benches teach us out of the box thinking. Last benches teach us multitasking. The poet in me was nurtured by last benches. The artist in me was created by the last benches. Last benches taught me how to come back strongly in an argument. Last benches gave me very strong survival instincts. The first time when I realized that I am a decent singer, I was warming the last benches. The rebel, the revolutionary, and the leader everything was shaped by the last benches. The last bencher in me is heartbroken today. Please RaGa, go back to your mummy’s row! ~ Atul Kumar Mishra
