The first thing I found out was that Uber’s software sometimes wildly underestimates the number of minutes it takes to reach a rider. I have seen this on the other side. As a passenger, Uber sometimes underestimates the time it will take a car to get to you. Its easy to theorize why Uber might do this -- potential passengers might just hop in a cab if Uber says its more than 5 minutes away. Has anyone else experienced this?
