The first time I ever saw a giant clam was at Apo Reef Marine Natural Park in Mindoro. My friends and I dived into the reef and there we saw various fish, sea turtles, sea snakes, sharks, lobsters, and a sea monster, the creature that lingered in my mind most was the giant clam, raising and closing its pearly shell in the weedy abyss. I hope future generations will still see this gentle creature in the wild. Take a look at this actual video footage of harvesting / poaching the giant clams in Bajo de Masinloc by the Chinese. Condemn this act to save this gentle endangered specie !!!
