The first time I heard Dr.Maher Hathout speak about his life, I thought: I have nothing to complain about, ever. And God willing, Im going to do something good with the blessings Ive been given and whatever time I have left. His life could do nothing but inspire and motivate anyone in any situation. I heard of his passing as I was standing in the Haram of Makkah, as many of us did. And many of us turned towards the Kaba, raised our hands and prayed for him. And we hope its one of many great signs for him. May Allah grant him the highest Paradise without reckoning, bless him with the companionship of al-Habib sal Allahu alayhe wa sallam and bless his family without measure. To God we belong and to Him is our return.
