The first video from our final Spectra Sonic Sound Session of 2014 with Birminghams very own St. Paul and The Broken Bones is now online. This is a really special performance of their song Half The City filmed live at the Alabama Theatre in between shows at their sold out two-night run at the legendary venue this past month. Birmingham couldnt be more proud of these guys and what theyve done to help bring attention to the The Magic City music scene and we couldnt be more proud to capture them at this amazing moment in their career. Going to be a really great series. Many thanks to our amazing crew at Made In The Magic City who did a killer job with both filming and lighting, as well as Magnetic Audio (Aaron Greene and Emanual Ellinas) who pulled out all of the stops to record the performances straight to tape on a reel-to-reel machine, and everyone at the Alabama Theatre (and in particular Bert Trotman from Frozen Hen) who let us film in their beautiful building.
