The first weekend of deer season has closed and it was a route for the Davis tribe. Total game seen: six squirrels, one turkey, six Canada geese....all bucking this gale force wind to somewhat maintain an upright posture. Reminded me of something out of the Wizard of Oz, sans lions, tigers and bears....Oh My. Good thing the households winter meat supply isnt dependent on this past weekends protein production. Not too many calories in an empty sack!
