The fish they say begins to rotten from its head, apparently anarchy looms in the country simply because the man at the helm of affairs seems to be loosing grip of his primary responsibility, of which he is on oath to uphold. The executive selfish and parochial sense of judgement, based on party and clique sentiments, seems to have overridden the general interest of the unity and stability of the nation. The evident partiality of the police and lack of professional ethics within its ranks, has eroded the tiny trust ascribed on them, if there was any, thereby leading to the resort to self help and potent threats of such, otherwise how can any sane society, overseen by sane administrators seat, watch and applaud the rape of democracy and constitutionality as manifest in the kangaroo, criminal, barbaric show of shame, displayed in the charade of insanity, called impeachment of a state house of assembly speaker, by seven(7) charlatans against the support of 19 other elected members, simply because it favors the PDP. The seven(7), were escorted and whisked into the hallow chambers by a battalion of unprofessional, angry, deprived and rag tagged battalion of policemen, in a manner that is reminiscence of a play, the raid of the entebe. Now the nineteen(19) other members and the purportedly impeached speaker are threatening fire and brimstone, as they ve vowed to rightly return to the hallow chamber, prepared to force their way into the hallow chamber, ready to be killed or mobbed(self help). When the police withdrew the security aids of Tambuwal, they defended their action claiming to be acting according to the provisions of the constitution, simply because, their action tends to favor a certain, ruling party. The same police then forgot to consult with the provisions of same constitution, when they acted so shamelessly in Ekiti State. I weep for Nigeria in the hands of incompetent administrators. In the case of barricading the NASS simply because of an alleged impotent intelligence report of possible break down of law and order at the NASS, one is then tempted to ask, how many intelligence reports had they ever analyzed and acted to prevent various bombings in the country??? While the Senate president in very clear and unequivocal terms, condemns the actions of the police against the lawmakers, the presidency has issued a statement defending the police, suddenly in a sharp deviation from her earlier position, the presidency has summoned the IG via the of VP. PDP the house of commotion is at the brink of collapse, Alhaji Turkur has gone to court, seeking redress, as he alleged that he was forcefully asked to resign against his wish, he has asked the courts to pronounce him as the chairman of PDP, which he remains until 2016.
