The floating village of Sandu’ao (三都澳) is China’s largest community living on the sea. #ChinaVillage Located in Fujian Province, most of the residents here earn a living by fishing and ocean farming. It seems that the inhabitants need never set foot on land. They have their own floating postboxes, police station, restaurants and stores, and a dedicated emergency phone number. Sandu’ao is gaining popularity as a #seafood paradise, where visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and dine at a restaurant in the middle of the world’s biggest floating sea-farming structure.
