The folks from MLSE are coming out to #DeathRowMeals YOUNGBLOOD on Sunday, thanks to the talent we have and this great internal blog post from ACCs Exec Chef Chris. Doent hurt that we are working with their official charity, Right To Play Canada. Tickets still available: uniiverse/youngblood On November 10th, The Hot Stove is proud to play host to the next edition of Death Row Meals. Death Row Meals is a series of themed and interactive events loosely based around the concept of “What would you have for your last meal on Earth?” It is an opportunity for some of the city’s up and coming culinary talent to showcase their work, promote their businesses and support local charities. It’s also a great opportunity for the chefs to network and build relationships outside of their regular work. The menus are usually kept secret till the day of the event but the common theme is fun. The theme for our evening is loosely based around the 80’s hockey feature film, Youngblood starring Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Keanu Reeves and the Toronto Maple Leafs own Steve “Stumpy” Thomas. Seven of the city’s exciting young chefs will prepare a themed seven course meal including our own Hot Stove Chef de Cuisine, Kellen Crumb. The evening also includes wine pairings with each course, taxes and gratuities all for the low price of $95 per person. Proceeds will benefit Right To Play. Tickets usually sell quite quickly for these events and Joel from Death Row Meals has been selling tickets for the past two weeks via twitter @foodie411. See below for more details and reservations. We hope to see you there! Thanks for the support!
