The following assertion was one of many questionable statements made on live radio yesterday by Saskatoon-based health policy analyst, Steven Lewis – “a lot of things listed about the LPN expansion, they are procedures…. processes can be taught, and processes can be taught to just about anybody, so, again, I think there is a diminished reliance on the formal educational credential and more on how is the workplace organized” A subsequent CBC story - cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/turf-war-going-on-between-lpns-and-rns-steven-lewis-says-1.2770668 - was then published online, without the many important, evidence-based opposing views that were shared on the show from multiple callers.
