The following individuals will be inducted into the Choctaw Hall of Fame on Oct. 17. There are many individuals who are worthy of this honor, but only 5 go in each year. This is the third year of the Hall of Fame. Keep in mind that anyone may nominate a person for the HOF. Nominations are accepted June 1 - Aug. 15 each year. All nominations are submitted to a committee of individuals who do not work at the school. Congratulations to: Elaine Carr Anderson-former student, guidance counselor and creator of the Minority Council Sharilyn Nabors Darnell-former student, community leader-Childrens Neighborhood Todd Gatlin- former student athlete, college and professional football player. Community leader-Eleanor Johnson Youth Center Melody Jackson-champion of female sports, former PE teacher and coach. Richard Pitts- (presented posthumously) for his dedication to the Style Marchers Please come out to the football game on Oct. 17 and see the induction at the pre-game show starting at 6:30 PM
