The following is a true story - A Day in My Life Today, in the center of Jerusalem on King George street, I was assaulted by two criminals known to the police. One of them jumped me and I managed to subdue him and put him in headlock. His partner, however, gave me kick to the side of my face, which at first really hurt. But after suffering from bad TMJ for 30 years, I think I am finally healed. The cops came and I am pressing charges but I feel bad. I have had bite-plates and braces and injections and teeth shaven to cure my TMJ dis-function and nothing has worked. And now one kick to the jaw has realigned it. Should I drop the charges and perhaps pay them instead for medical services rendered?
