The Board of Supervisors legislative internship is open to full-time college students, ages 18-24, interested in public service. I am writing to you in hope that you know of someone who may be interested. Interns learn the operations of various county departments while assisting in correspondence, casework and fieldwork in the Fourth District. Additionally, the legislative intern will coordinate and oversee a group of Blythe area high school students who serve as volunteer council members on the Youth Advisory Council. The intern will be paid $10 per hour, maximum 20 hours per week. If you know of a student attending college in the Coachella Valley or Blythe area, please forward him or her the attached application.
