The following is the responses people are getting to their complaints with EH! Thank you for your email. We facilitate open access to the stone circle during the solstices and equinox. In order to do so we work closely with local partners including Wiltshire Police. In addition to this we hold open Round Table meetings where representatives from the pagan and druid community give us feedback on our plans. Our focus is very much on managing safe access for the thousands of people who choose to attend and the monument itself. We ask all attendees to follow our conditions of entry but we do not facilitate any of the rituals that take place or direct people where they should happen. We expect people to be respectful and tolerant of each other. We have no control over Arthur Pendragon or any other person who attends the event – he is not associated with English Heritage. We take considerable steps to ensure this is a safe event for all and the police are on hand to deal with any criminal activity should it arise. If any bullying or abuse occurs then I would advise you to flag this to the numerous police and security guards on hand – that’s what they are there to do.
