The following men from the Nyack area were “Killed in Action.” They left the safety of their Nyack homes and fought for their country. Some travelled only upstate, others halfway around the world. What they all have in common is they never came home. They gave their lives in defense of our liberties and for the perpetuation of American ideals, and with their sacrifice they have earned the gratitude of our community and nation.
