The foreclosure crisis has somewhat worked itself out in those states where foreclosures do not require a judicial proceeding and thus in those states foreclosures are less of an overhang on the market. In the states that require judicial foreclosures it takes a long time to foreclose. So the impact of the crisis is now manifesting itself there and foreclosures do provide some downward pressure on prices. Connecticut is one of those states.
