The frozen package said, pizza for one, but it was only 89 cents! I couldnt help thinking of all the people who must be alone for the holidays eating pizza for one, and it made me sad. I picked it up anyway, and put it in the basket. Who can resist dinner for 89 cents, even if it is a sad, lonely dinner. Haha, I chuckled. Am I lonely? I kidded myself. Has it finally come to this? Will I die alone while standing in the checkout line holding this little pizza for one? Naw... I sought to establish and strengthen the argument with new evidence and facts. I am here by choice. Im used to this. I can always call someone. I have friends and relatives. I didnt feel sadness for myself, remember, but for those who are alone not by choice. Those, recently divorced or widowed, out here alone in the world... Ill invite them over and they can sit on the couch. Ill make a salad, so they wont have to eat pizza for one.
