The funny thing about humans is when someone says something out of deep emotion, if the person listening feels completely opposite emotions currently, that statement no matter how intense will almost always fall onto deaf ears. Why do you think public speakers give you emotional examples before they bare their fangs, they want you to get in their zone so you can fully absorb the material. That is why social media, all of this instant access communication, will always be flawed. Our generation has forgotten how to even sit down and have a real talk with someone. Everyone is on their phones constantly, even in REAL LIFE if it gets awkward for a freaking second they will pull their phone out. Any intelligent logical human being will see all of this and realize how negative it is. Im prey to it myself, I am not devoid of the shallowness. But damnit something needs to change before we become robots
