The game Armored Warfare is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and my, which is a subsidiary of Mail.Ru Group. The main competitor of Mail.Ru group is Wargaming.net and it is said that games of the former is making more money from the Russian populace. It is the most influential and widespread Russian internet provider and website owner and their portfolio includes (in Russia) very popular browser games. With World of Tanks becoming popular, Mail.Ru created a clone copy of the game which was browser-based and with low graphics quality. So, WG sued Mail.Ru for copyrights and in the end, WG won the case in the court. Now, Mail.Ru is back with a vengeance. (Source: SS, FTR, posted 06 August 2014)
